Bathtubs are generally installed in houses prior to walls being completed.  Therefore, when damage is discovered at the end of the building process, it is not always possible to replace the tub.  This is where Surface Specialists expertise of bathtub repairs is commonly utilized.

Occasionally, damage referred to as "stress cracks" can also appear after a tub is installed.  As you can see in the photos below, these can also be easily repaired.

Cracks can also appear in the floor of a tub from either lack of support or shifting of a unit.  In these circumstances, an overlay is sometimes necessary.  Through the process of an overlay, additional support is given to the bottom of the tub and a fiberglass panel is adhered to the existing surface.  Skid resistant surfaces can also be applied for added security during this process.
